NEW RFID Visual
This new innovative tag is an RFID tag combined with a specially designed visual tag, to give visual and electronic identification wherever an animal is being handled. The RFID Visual tag is designed with the key elements of high retention, ease of application and readability (both electronic and visual) paramount.
- Same benefits as the tamperproof tag
- Both electronic and visual identification of animals available wherever animal is being handled
-
The visual tag component is a similar size as a large Two Piece tag
-
Printing with Duramark® ensures that the tag remains clean, bright and easy-to-read for years.
- Visual tag is soft, light and flexible which minimises snagging so retention is not compromised
- No matching of the RFID tag with a separate visual tag is required - improving accuracy and speeding the process up.
- The RFID Visual is applied with the popular two piece tagger without a requirement for special inserts or modification. This tagger is renowned for its ease of use and the prevention of ripped ears because of its patented retractable arm and flick out pin.

Reuseable
- Multiple use option designed for “closed system” operations where use on different animals will not impede the integrity of individual unique animal identification.
- Cost effective because the re-usable design allows the tag to be taken out of animals leaving the property and re-applied to new animals.

Tag Application
|
All Zee Tags RFID tags are applied with Zee Tags standard Two Piece Tagger. No modification is required.
Zee Tags two-piece tagging system is designed with a patented “pivoting pin” and together with the auto-release top arm reduces the chance of ripped ears.
The female tag carrying the RFID component should always be placed in the inside of the ear and should be applied in the middle of the ear as close to be base of the ear as possible.
